Helping you to measure, manage and, reduce your carbon emissions
The ecological footprint is an established, comprehensive indicator of sustainability as it links consumption (of countries, companies or products) to the Earth’s carrying capacity. As an environmental metric it offers a more comprehensive assessment of sustainability than the carbon footprint as it also considers renewable resources. It is actively promoted by the WWF and the Global Footprint Network, created in 1993 it is now in wide use by governments, communities, and businesses to monitor current ecological resource balances and to plan for the future.
